Drug take back day

Turn in your unused or expired household prescription or over-the-counter medication for safe disposal. The Grand County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with Fraser/Winter Park Police, Granby Police, Kremmling Police, Grand County Public Health Department, Grand County Water Quality and the DEA will be holding a Drug Take Back day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at the locations listed above. This is the time to clean out any old or unused medications and dispose of them in a safe manner. Representatives from the Police Departments, Sheriff’s Department and Public Health will be on hand to answer questions at each site. The following items will not be accepted; needles & sharps, mercury (thermometers), oxygen containers, chemotherapy/radioactive substances, pressurized canisters, illicit drugs For more information you may call the Grand County Sheriff’s Office at 970-725-3343.
