GRANBY – A Grand County Economic Development Summit is on the calendar for April 18, and entrepreneurs, businesses, nonprofit organizations, governments and community members from throughout Grand County are encouraged to attend.

The Summit offers an opportunity to learn about all the economic-development grassroots efforts happening on a state, regional, county and local level, and how each and every one can get involved.

The keynote speaker, Kari Linker from Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, will talk about Governor Hickenlooper’s “Bottoms Up Blueprint” and how you can get involved in the blueprint for the Northwest Region, moving forward with industry business partnerships.

Learn what tools and resources are available for your business. And, the Grand County Economic Development Office will present its local strategic plan. Business Roundtable Workshops will follow the presentations. Expo of business resources will also be on-hand, such as the Grand Enterprise Initiative, Northwest Small Business Development Center and the Granby Workforce Center.

“Be a part of this exciting process towards building a better foundation to a Grand tomorrow,” said Grand County Office of Economic Development Coordinator DiAnn Butler.
