EGMS students participate in Model UN

Fifteen students who attend East Grand Middle School (EGMS) worked for a semester to create resolutions for three countries. (Greece, UK, and Macedonia). They participated in Model UN in Steamboat Springs Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday, 12. On Wednesday they were grouped in Council sessions to debate resolutions and then on Thursday they convened in a General Assembly to debate and vote on the resolutions passed in the Council Sessions. Out of 28 countries, eight were sent to General Assembly, the East Grand Middle School’s Greece team was one of them!
