For over a year and a half Dr. and Mrs. Gordon England have been giving leadership to Stillwater Community Chapel. On Aug. 24, they will step down to retire and to allow themselves to be more fully involved in addressing mobility concerns being experienced by Karen.

The Englands have made a number of wonderful friends in Grand County during this experience at the church. The highlight of the ministry during this time has been to see a number come to personal faith in Christ. Last summer’s Stillwater Family Adventures were an example of the Stillwater family working together to provide an opportunity for all to work inter-generationally and grow closer to each other and to Christ.

Stillwater Chapel expresses appreciation to both Pastor Gordon and Karen and prays for effective treatment for Karen. Honoring their service, the church will be hosting a Retirement Lunch at noon on Aug. 24. All are invited. See details at http://www.stillwaterchapel.net/.
