Calendar: Going on in Grand
Granby Main Street Trick-or-Treat — 4-6 p.m. Ghosts and Goblins of all shapes and sizes will be gathering on Main Street to celebrate the season. Come dressed up and join the fun. Starting at 4 p.m., come out and Trick or Treat on Agate Avenue in Granby at the businesses with pumpkins in the windows. Don’t forget to stop by the “Spooky House” at the Chamber, too. Classic cars will be on display for “Trunk or Treat” at the Brickhouse 40/Granby Town Parking Lot. Enjoy free hot dogs and pop provided by Mountain Parks Electric, and enter the family, kids and pet costume contests. Costume Contest lineup begins at 5:15 p.m. in the parking lot next to Brickhouse 40. Scarecrow Contest winners will be announced, too. The fun doesn’t stop at 6 p.m. The after-party will be hosted by Brickhouse 40 with live music, drink specials and children eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée.
Grand Nordic Ski Swap — Join Grand Nordic for an evening of fun, socializing and shopping for bargains on Nordic ski gear. Equipment check-in 5 to 6 p.m. at Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center (upstairs). Ski Swap and Dessert Potluck 6-8:30 pm. Bring your favorite dessert to share (although not required to attend). Check out new and used equipment from Snow Mountain Ranch, Devil’s Thumb and Winter Park Trading Company as well as great equipment offered by your fellow skiers. Join or renew your Grand Nordic membership, buy season passes for Snow Mountain Ranch, Devil’s Thumb Ranch, and Grand Lake Nordic at reduced preseason rates. The Friends of the Grand County Library Volunteer and Member Appreciation Celebration — 10 a.m. at the Granby Library. We’ll enjoy some refreshments while recognizing several volunteers of the year. Door prizes will be given out and the lucky winner of this year’s quilt will be drawn. If you are a member, have volunteered at one of the libraries or would like to learn more about the Friends please come so that we can thank you.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day — 10 a.m. at City Market in Granby, Safeway in Fraser and the Kremmling Mercantile in Kremmling.
Halloween party — 9 p.m. at the Crooked Creek Saloon in Fraser. A celebration of Halloween with live music from Black Market III. Costume contest, food and drink specials through out the evening.

American Legion Monthly Meeting — 6:30 p.m. American Legion Post 88. Meet at Mavericks Grill in Granby.
FRIDAY, NOV. 10
Grand County 20th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast — The Grand County Veterans Service Office and American Legion Post 88 request the honor of your presence for the 20th annual Grand County Veterans Day Breakfast and program. Breakfast from 8-9:15 a.m., program at 9:30 a.m. at the Commons at Snow Mountain Ranch.

Salute to Veterans/Celebrate Aviation History Month — 11 a.m. Military aviation history celebration, especially World War II and salute to local veterans, family-friendly venue. At Granby/Grand County Airport-Emily Warner Field, 1023 County Road 610, Granby.
