Families fundraise for local childcare center at Winter Park FallFest

Winter Park’s Rendezvous Events Center was alive with laughter, curiosity and energy on Saturday afternoon for the 19th annual Kids Fall Festival, which benefits the Grand Kids Learning Center.

The parent-led fundraiser offered a variety of activities for families, including donut bobbing, face painting, corn hole, bounce houses, sumo wrestling, a music session and tons of food and games.

Blues in the Schools, part of the Grand County Blues Society, presented a rhythm and percussion bongo workshop, while HawkQuest educated crowds about two of their birds, a bald eagle and a snowy owl.

The Grand Kids Learning Center is a childcare center for kids ages two months to six years located in Fraser.
