Five car accident on Red Dirt Hill, US 40 closed near Granby
A five-car accident occurred on US Highway 40 around 4 p.m. Friday, August 5. The highway is closed until everything is cleaned up, said Grand County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer, Lt. Dan Mayer.
The highway should be open by 4:30 p.m. with alternating traffic.
Grand County EMS, Colorado State Patrol, Grand Fire and the Grand County Sheriff’s Office are responding.
