“Fizz, Boom, Read!” in district library reading program

Submitted to the Sky-Hi

Stop by your local library beginning June 2 to register for the Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is “Fizz, Boom, Read!” with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and math. You’ll get a free fun flyer just for signing up. The Summer Reading Program is open to all young people, from babies to young adults.

You’ll have the chance to win a free book and other great prizes provided by our sponsors: YMCA of the Rockies, Winter Park Resort, Country Ace Hardware, and The Friends of the Grand County Libraries. And adults can participate too: Play “Summer Reading Bingo” to be entered to win a new e-reader.

Children and families are also invited to join their library for two free fun and entertaining programs this summer, suitable for all ages. Contact your local library for more details.
