Food bank donations can be made during Grand Lake’s July 4th festivities

The Grand County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Grand Lake Fire Protection District will be accepting non-perishable food donations to benefit the Mountain Family Center Food Bank during the Fourth of July Weekend celebration in Grand Lake.

Donation boxes will be located at the Grand Lake town hall in town park and at the Grand Lake Fire Department at 201 West Portal Road. Donations assist the Mountain Family Center during the summer months when demand for the food bank is higher than normal and fewer donations are received. Donation will also be accepted by the Mountain Family Center float during Grand Lake’s Fourth of July Parade.
