Former Grand Lake entrepreneur Frank V. Moulton Jr. dies at 77
Frank V. Moulton Jr., of Lakewood, passed away on April 30, 2010. Born on July 24, 1932, Frank is survived by his loving wife, Marianne; children Greg, Renee and Tracy (Grove); son-in-law Tim Grove; daughter-in-law Kelly Moulton; and two grandchildren, Jackson & Skyler, with a new grandson expected imminently.Together with Allen Miller, Frank owned and operated the very successful Corner Cupboard Inn restaurant and bar in Grand Lake from 1973 to 1991. Frank was also an occasional visiting “business consultant” and general promoter of good cheer at the Lariat Saloon, Caroline’s Cuisine, Daven Haven Lodge and many other fine establishments in and around Grand Lake.Frank was also lifelong travel sales professional for Air France, Auto Europe, and others; a high school volleyball coach in Aurora, and a consummate wine enthusiast. He was active in numerous travel industry organizations, where his legendary networking skill, jovial and easy-going manner and infectious enthusiasm instantly endeared him to all he met. He will be sorely missed.Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. at Hudson Gardens, 6115 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton.
