Former Kremmling resident Judith Davis dies

Judith A. Davis, 64, of Sedgwick passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011, at the Miller Memorial Care Center in Chappell, Neb.

Judy was born in Denver on December 28, 1946, to George and Ruth (Decker) Knorr and was raised on the Blue River in Summit County and Kremmling. She attended schools in Summit County and Kremmling, and she graduated from West Grand High School in 1965. She then attended Colorado State College (currently University of Northern Colorado) in Greeley and graduated in 1969 with a bachelors degree and teaching certificate.

Judy married Rod Davis on January 17, 1972, in Denver. To this union two children were born. She lived throughout much of Colorado during her life including Gunnison, Hotchkiss, Kremmling, Cedaredge, Grand Junction and Sedgwick.

She is survived by her husband Rod Davis; children Jeff Davis (Teresa) and Jan Toyne (Jason); grandchildren Christina, Michael and Jennifer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and her brother Ed Knorr.
