Fraser election results: Smith is mayor, and write-in candidates Waldo and Sanders are trustees

The new mayor of Fraser is Peggy Smith with 154 votes, Scotty Brent had 103.

The trustees who have won a seat include Eileen Waldow with 182 votes and will serve a 4-year term, Philip Naill with 140 votes will serve a 4-year term, Cheri Sanders with 139 votes will serve a 2-year term, and Vesta Shapiro with 137 votes will serve a 2-year term.

Adam Cwiklin had 110 votes, Jeff Pearson had 93 votes, Clark Lipscomb had 49 votes.



This was a record turnout with 53 percent of ballots returned, according to officials.
