Fraser girl competes for Miss Pre-Teen title
Angelina Butler of Fraser was recently selected to participate in the 2014 Miss Pre-Teen Denver/Colorado Springs pageant competition that will take place on Sunday, Oct. 20.
Butler learned of her acceptance into this year’s competition when the pageant announced its selections following interviews in the Denver/Colorado Springs area. Butler submitted an application and took part in an interview session that was conducted by this year’s Denver/Colorado Springs pageant coordinator.
Butler will be competing in the Miss Pre-Teen division, one of four divisions that will have young ladies ages 7 and 19 competing in modeling routines, which include casual wear and formal wear. Most important, Butler will display her personality and interviewing skills while interviewing with this year’s Denver/Colorado Springs judging panel. Personality is the number one aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of competition.
If Butler wins the title of Miss Pre-Teen Denver/Colorado Springs, she will represent Denver/Colorado Springs and the surrounding communities at the National Competition that will take place in Orlando, Florida.
Community businesses, organizations, and private individuals will assist Butler in participating in this year’s competition by becoming an official sponsor to her. With sponsorships, contestants receive all the necessary training, rehearsals, and financial support, which allows them to become a confident and well-prepared contestant.
Sponsoring Butler are: Da Vinci Artisan Fresh Cuisine, Sara Benfit, Nancy Netto, Vertical Electric, Tabernash Tavern, The Salon at Winter Park, De Antonios Pizza, Peezy Marie, Epic Mountain Sports, Sharky’s Eatery, Veritas Owl Artistry, Bella Vita Mountain Day Spa & Gifts, The Foundry Cinema and Bowl, New Hong Kong, Grand County Health and Chiropractic, Big Valley Construction, Highland Lumber, Pearl City Landscaping, Trestle Tool, Be Boutique and Kopy Kat.
