Fraser Library appreciates help with reading program
September 17, 2009
To the Editor:
The more you read, the more you know … and youth of the Fraser Valley certainly increased the number of wrinkles in their brain during the 2009 Summer Reading Program. We had over 70 participants in our weekly programs, enjoying the grand scope of library opportunities this season. Our sponsors, who support the program year after year, helped make it possible.
We would like to thank the Rocky Mountain Roastery, the Fraser Quikstop, Subway, ALCO, Winter Park Resort, and Pizza Hut for sponsoring the Fraser Valley Library’s Summer Reading Program once again. We would also like to thank Dennis, from Fraser One Hour Photo, for doing a fabulous presentation to our young adults on the techniques of photography. Our community partnerships provide education and literacy for our youth, and we are grateful for the continued support.
