Fraser rec center benefits developer more than residents

To the Editor:

Stephanie Souiers’ letter makes it clear that there certainly are a lot of people who live in the Fraser rec district who don’t “get it.”

I admit I got it late myself, but I was let down by a rec district board who poorly informed and inadequately notified me to vote on such an important issue. And already this same board has their eye out for more money? This is the kind of planning we can expect?

Well, maybe it’s Stephanie that doesn’t “get it.” Maybe she’s the one that fails to understand that this so-called “free land” does a lot more for Grand Park than it does for the residents and children of East Grand. Not only does it do so at great cost, but it does so with a rec district board who expects us to follow them down a rabbit hole.

Maybe it’s Stephanie who can’t see the fox smiling at us dumb bunnies.
