Fraser Rec District candidate aims to ‘end the bitterness’

To the Editor:

My decision to run for the Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District Board in the recall election was based upon a lifetime commitment to this valley and the people in it. I have no ax to grind, I have no hidden agenda.

I support the rec center and have no desire to stop or hinder the progress on our new facility. I believe I can help end the bitterness and move forward in a positive and cohesive direction. My goal is to develop, maintain and enhance the public recreation assets of the community. To everyone in the district, I pledge my best efforts, my education, and my experience in facility management towards that goal.

I would appreciate your vote in the February election.
