Fraser to hold third public workshop following approval of Fraser River Master Plan

A look into the design of the Lions Ponds area in the Fraser River Corridor Master Plan. Fraser plans to continue investing in the project next year.

The town of Fraser is inviting residents to come out to the Crooked Creek Saloon for a public workshop on the Fraser River Corridor Master Plan on April 10. The workshop will run from 6-8 p.m., and will give residents the opportunity to discuss the recently approved plan with town staff.

The Fraser Board of Trustees approved the final plans for the Cozen’s Ranch Open Space at their regular meeting on March 21, detailing the $6.5 million project that will be completed in phases over the coming months and years. Now, the town wants to show off the plans to interested parties.

The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the objectives of the Master Plan to residents, review public input and demonstrate how that input was incorporated into the plan, showcase the elements of the plan, present the next steps and celebrate the progress made so far.
