Unofficial election results from the Grand County Clerk and Recorder’s Office show that the town of Fraser Ballot Question 2A is approved by voters with 383 yes votes and 186 no votes as of Wednesday morning.

Ballot Question 2A asked Fraser voters if they wanted the town’s regular elections to be moved from April to the “Tuesday succeeding the first Monday of November in each even-numbered year.”

A benefit of changing the election date for Fraser’s municipal elections is that it would be coordinated with Grand County and could save the town money. A downside to moving Fraser’s elections is that there is a possibility that town issues receive less focus alongside other ballot questions, according to the town’s election webpage.

The election date change is effective in 2026, according to the town clerk.
