May 20 was a “Grand Day” for the Emily Warner Field Aviation Museum when the Friends of Granby Airport, Inc., endowed the museum with $1,000 when it officially joined the Grand County Historical Association (GCHA) family of museums. The celebration was well attended with important aviation and heritage tourism groups represented. The new Emily Warner Field Aviation Museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday and Saturday, June 3 through September 3 and is staffed with all volunteers. http://www.grandcountyhistory.org/museums/emily-warner-field-aviation-museum/.
