GALLERY: Popular jam band attracts sold-out concert at Ullr’s
St. Patricks Day in Winter Park is a day of the year that many won’t forget, but also a day that many others won’t remember.
On one of the biggest nights out of the year, many locals and visitors find themselves meandering through the seemingly endless choices of holiday parties. Restaurants and bars pack in piles of party goers, treating them with colored beers, traditional Irish food and music.
Swarming around the bar at Ullr’s Tavern, 300 people from all over the country flooded the sold-out venue to celebrate, but these patrons weren’t there to just celebrate the Irish holiday. Many came out to see one of the best jam bands on the scene today, Spafford.
For years, the band founded in Arizona has been tearing up the national music scene and drawing a enormous fan base. With a unique sound and a surreal light show Spafford electrified the crowd into the early morning hours.
