The Grand Lake Rotary renovated the Grand Lake Town Gazebo in May located on Grand Lake near Western Riviera. The gazebo was built in honor of Justin Appelhans who died in 1989. This spot on the lake was where he would water ski from, said his mother and father, Linda and Frank Appelhans. June 1 was Justin’s birthday. The original stonework of the gazebo was constructed by Kirk Klanke, and Byron Miller completed the wooden part of the gazebo.
