The ladies of the Grand Lake Nifty Niners played nine holes on the Grand Lake Golf Course Tuesday morning using individual scores rather than team scores to determine the winners. Lee Rogers won the day with a score of 30 followed by Jan Jackson in second with a score of 35 and tieing for third place was Maureen Delsing and Mary Bown each finishing with a 36. Putt winners of the day were Vicki Nessan and Lee Rogers both putting 16 to share the top prize.  Congrats to Jerrie Drury for winning the Chip Ins of the day with a chip to hole shot on hole #8. 

The game is called “Field Shots” and proved to be a winner for Carolyn Moore of the Grand Lake Tee Bags when she took first place prize of the day with a 32. Kathee Johnson followed closely with a 38 and Coni Moore finished off the top three places with a 43. Phyllis Stephens had a great day with chip ins on TWO holes Tuesday. Phyllis managed a chip in on hole #1 as well as hole #11. Phyllis Loftsgard took first place in the least amount of putts for the day with a 29, followed by Ivy HOward with a 33 and Sharon Curtis and Phyllis Stephens shared third place in least putts with a 34 each.

On Thursday, June 30, the Pole Creek Ladies played a Cha Cha Tournament. One Net score was used on all Par 5’s, Two net scores were used on all Par 4’s, and Three net scores were used on all 3’s. The winning teams were:

1st Place Team: Joanne Foster, Katie Simpson, Linda Moore, Carol Stott

2nd Place Team Bette Hughes, Sharon Fender, Lindy Kennedy, Michelle De Frange

3rd Place Team Deb Kohlwey, Jutta Oberle, Pam Brown
