Granby Christmas tree recycling helps fund fifth-grade trip

Fifth-grade students are hosting a Christmas tree recycling event to benefit their upcoming Making Memories trip to Glenwood Springs by train.

Christmas trees may be deposited for a suggested donation of $5 each from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 7-8, at Granby Elementary School. A bake sale is included in the event.

Mountain Parks Electric is donating the disposal costs.
