Granby donates to tornado-ravaged Windsor
The Town of Granby voted to contribute $5,000 to tornado-torn Windsor for its rebuilding efforts. The northern Colorado town is in the aftermath of a May 22 natural disaster that led to a governor-declared state of emergency.
Trustee Ed Raffety proposed the donation Tuesday, saying four years ago, Granby received contributions from individuals and towns throughout the state when it was severely damaged by a bulldozer rampage.
“We went through this, we know what it’s like,” he said.
