Granby Play Days Preschool conducts quilt fundraising drive

Granby Play Days Preschool invites the public to participate in its quilt show fundraiser.

The quilt was designed by Michelle Burns and the squares were created by preschoolers. Some of the squares represent local businesses that have helped support the preschool over the past two years.

Tickets, which cost $10, give particpants an opportunity to win the quilt and can be purchased at Country Ace Hardware, Brickhouse 40, Granby Dental, Ian’s Mountain Bakery and the Sky-Hi News.

The quilt is on display in the children’s room at the Granby Library. The drawing will take place at the Granby Play Days annual performance and art show at the Granby Library from 7:30 to 8 p.m., May 24.

For more information about the quilt or the preschool, call 970-887-3459.
