Daddy-Daughter Dance
Join the 22nd annual Daddy-Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 1. The dance is available to all girls ages 3 and older along with the adult chaperone of their choice.
The evening will include two dances: one from 5-6:15 p.m. and another from 7-8:15 p.m. at the Elk Ridge Ballroom at Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains. A DJ will play through the night. The cost is $40 per pair and $10 for each additional daughter. Registration is required.
Kids Cardboard Sled Builders Club
Students ages 5-9 can join the Colorado Mountain Expeditions crew for a STEM program with a little bit of outdoor adventure mixed in.
Kids will build their own sleds out of cardboard and then take them to the hill between Granby Elementary School and the soccer dome for testing. Duct tape, cardboard and other recyclables will be provided for use in constructing the sleds.
The club will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. Thursdays in February at Granby Elementary School. The cost is $125 for the four-week club. Registration closes Thursday, Jan. 30.
