Granby Rotary dinner a great success
April 7, 2010
To the Editor:
The Granby Rotary Club recently enjoyed a night out with a progressive dinner fundraiser. We would like to thank the following restaurants who donated their portion of the meal as a fundraiser for the club.
The evening started at Seven Trails Grille, where we enjoyed flatbread napolitana, calamari and pollo fritti. From there the group of 20-plus Rotarians and their spouses traveled by bus to Maverick’s Grille for prime rib, salmon and wonderful sides. The event culminated at Brickhouse 40 for a scrumptious desert of bread pudding.
A big thank you to all the restaurants for their generosity and participation in this event. If you haven’t checked out these fine establishments lately, we encourage you to do so.
Thanks are also in order to Granby Ranch and Robert Cox for the use of their bus and talent for the transportation.
The evening was very enjoyable and was a successful event for Rotary, which supports our community in so many ways. Thanks again to all the participating restaurants and Rotarians.
