Grand Arts Council appreciates help with Holiday Melodrama

To the Editor:

The Grand Arts Council would like to thank the many volunteers that helped to make the Holiday Melodrama put on by the Grand Arts Council over Christmas a success.

Barbara Ahrens and Linda Carlson as the director and producer put in the most hours starting with selecting the play, holding the try-outs and coordinating the rehearsals. Second only to them are the actors, Ashley North, Ariel Lowerison, Katie Gailey, Ellie Rempel, David Heil, Robert Canon, Carolyn Alcorn, Zak Rowen, Allaura Cox, Jim Cervenka, Bill Lowerison an Toni Rowen. These dedicated volunteers put in more than 65 hours each to make this one of the best productions of the Melodrama in recent history.

Christopher Cox, Jason Tarr, Adam Weaver and Lew Schwerin did the lights and about 20 other people volunteered to sell cookies and take tickets. The GAC is deeply grateful for the generosity and dedication these volunteers show to help support the GAC and the arts in Grand County. Thanks again and see you again next year. Andrea Cox

President, Grand Arts Council
