Three Grand County 4-H members attended the 2017 Leadership Development Conference, held at the Renaissance Hotel in Denver January 28 and 29. The members in attendance included Abigail Halley, Robyn Halley, and Madison DeCicco. Participants of the conference learned about state government and how a bill becomes a law. They broke into groups and were given the opportunity to prep for, debate, and vote on several current issues Colorado is facing. All three Grand County members are active participants in our local 4-H Council, and their experiences at the conference will help them grow in their leadership roles here at home.
