Grand County Board of Realtors opposes tax-cutting ballot measures
The Grand County Board of Realtors invites the public to join them for a rally against amendments 60 & 61 and Proposition 101 at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Granby Library. Featured speaker will be John Lay with the organization, “Don’t Hurt Colorado. Org.” He is the former president of the Southeast Business Partnership and the Denver Metro Chamber and has served in several finance positions with Samsonite Corp. and with several entities within the cable television industry.He headed both the Colorado Department of Administration and the Department of Labor and Employment as well as serving as the governor’s chief of staff.The Colorado Association of Realtors and the Grand County Board of Realtors have Voted to oppose these ballot measures. GCBOR officials want voters to know that communities from “Kremmling to Granby, from Grand Lake to Winter Park, will all be affected negatively if even ONE of these measures pass.”
