3rd Annual Alpaca Fest, 10am-4pm, one mile east of Granby on County Road 60 #946. Alpaca petting zoo, fiber mill tours, demonstration of weaving, knitting, spinning, dyeing, felting of natural fibers. Free and open to the public. For more info call Linda at 970-531-8554.

Kauffman House Museum Opening, 11am-5pm, Grand Lake. Restored Victorian hotel offers fascinating exhibits, guided tours, fun for all ages. Adults $5.00, Free to Children 12 and younger, GLAHS Members, Group rates available.

Saturday Night in the Park, 7-7:45, The Kawuneeche Visitor Center, Rocky Mountain National Park. Storyteller, Linda Batlin tells of the life of local “Doc Susie.” This is the story of a most extraordinary woman doctor who arrived here in 1907 and practiced medicine until 1956. Memorial Day – Honoring those that have given their lives so that we can live free.

Grand Lake Memorial Day Parade, 10am, Main Street. Immediately following the parade there will be an Observance Ceremony in the Town Square Park honoring our military veterans. Posting of the Colors, Invocation, singing of “God Bless America” by Peggy Mann, Reading of the Flag, performance of “America the Beautiful” and much more. Bring your family, friends and celebrate with us!
