Grand County Commissioners update; crises and commitment

Sky-Hi News Staff Report

The Grand County Commissioners, Merrit Linke, Kris Manguso, and Jane Tollett have released an update to communicate what is happening in the county as they move through a transition period with a new commissioner.

Crises can create opportunities or dead ends, depending on how we view them. In the midst of working our way out, it is easy to get lost in the negativity of the situation. Often, once we commit to a path forward, ideas and opportunities present themselves that we either did not see before, or that were not available until we changed course. Perhaps the non-profit Hospice closing will result in new funders. Home Health has already identified several potential nursing services that can work with our patients. And, once we balance the budget, businesses may then see our financial stability as a positive to help build a stronger Grand County economy.

Attitude makes a difference: Our finest hours are ahead.
