Grand County Community Forum set for Sept. 11

Northwest Colorado Center for Independence will host a Grand County Community Resource Forum for individuals with disabilities, seniors, family, friends, attendants, service providers and anyone interested in working together to realize a more inclusive, accessible, and healthy community.

The Forum will be held at Granby Community and Senior Center, 125 N 3rd Street on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 3-6 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to learn about services available and to identify opportunities for developing additional supports for anyone with a goal to live well in Grand County communities. The Community Forum will host five Panel Boards addressing Basic Access to Healthcare, Emergency Preparedness, Mental Health Crisis Prevention, Community Based Services and Youth in Transition.

All are invited to participate in the discussions, meet local service providers and prepare plans for a safe and healthy future.

If you are interested in attending or have any questions, call Mary Housley with NWCCI at 970-531-3467 or email at
