Grand County drug takeback coming Sept. 26

A prescription drug takeback will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the City Market in Granby or the Fraser Safeway.

Grand County Sheriff’s Office personnel will be on hand to accept unused or expired household prescription/over-the-counter medication for safe disposal.

The following items WILL NOT be accepted; Needles & Sharps, mercury (thermometers), oxygen containers, chemotherapy/ radioactive substances, pressurized canisters, illicit drugs.
