Grand County employees to receive 2.5% pay raise

HOT SULPHUR SPRINGS — County commissioners approved a 2.5 percent pay increase for county employees, effective Aug. 11. Any county workers, excluding elected officials, on the payroll for over a year will receive the increase, visible on their Aug. 30 paychecks. The raise is the county’s first in five years.

“I think the employees have served us well during this downturn,” said Commissioner Gary Bumgarner.
