The Grand County Republicans are getting ready for Independence Day.

The day begins with a parade down Granby’s Main Street at 11 a.m. After the parade, the Republicans will have a table at the Party in the Park at Polhamus Park for community members to stop by.

On July 7, the party will hold its monthly meeting in Kremmling. The meeting is at 404 Park Ave from 6:30-8 p.m. Dinner is sponsored by Rebecca Guthrie.

There is no virtual option at the meeting, and party members are encouraged to attend in person and get to know each other. This event will be less formal, with a 20-minute discussion inside (please bring a chair), then time outside to mingle.

For September, the Republicans are looking ahead to Constitution Week in Grand Lake. The patriotic celebration takes place from Sept. 15-21. Volunteers are planning to participate in the parade and have a table at the event. A schedule of events will be announced.

Grand County GOP also plans to be part of Hispanic Heritage Day, on Sept. 21 from noon to 3 p.m. in Polhamus park.
