Grand County Historic Preservation Board elects Lively, Munn to leadership posts

The Grand County Historic Preservation Board has announced the election of Dave Lively as chairperson and Scott Munn as vice chairperson.

Both have expressed their gratitude and look forward to working with property owners who would like to see their historic structure or site designated as a local historic landmark.

The Board has also announced one opening for a Board member. The preference is for a candidate from either end of Grand County. However, any county resident will be considered.

The Board meets monthly and is charged with making recommendations providing for the designation of historic landmarks, buildings, or sites in Grand County. Anyone with a high level of interest in the history of Grand County is encouraged to submit their name for consideration.

For more information please contact Dave Lively at 627-3693 or submit your interest to GC Historic Preservation Board, PO Box 165 Hot Sulphur Springs CO 80451.
