Grand County Historical Assocation appreciates community support

To the Editor:

The Historical Association thanks the patrons, quilters and donations that made the Quilt Show at the Cozens Ranch Museum an enjoyable event.

Refreshments were donated by Donna Bielenberg, Fay Nedella, Jean Miller, Yvonne Knox and Ida Sheriff. Quilts and quilt racks for the show were loaned by Louise Atteridg, Jocille Quick, Marsha Walker, Fay Nedella, Janet Schayer, Leah Cheek, Kay Rhoades and Barbara Mitchell. With the enthusiasm and help of Fay Nedella and Kay Rhoades, who loaned the majority of the quilts and helped set up the racks and exhibit, the event was a success and fun. Thanks for the special help they gave.

Grace Hammond served as laison between the event coordinator and the quilters. And last, but not least, thanks for the patrons who came and shared refreshments and stories and showed an interest and enthusiasm for the art of quilting and support for the Grand County Historical Association and museums.
