Grand County local government meetings this week
Local government meetings in Grand County are fairly light this week, Nov. 7 – 11, 2016.
The Town of Granby will hold a Board of Trustees Meeting on Tuesday Nov. 8 in the Granby Town Hall, located at Zero Jasper Avenue. The meeting will begin with a Public Hearing for the 2017 Granby Town budget.
The Granby Board will also discuss and possibly approve a resolution accepting a revolving fund loan and a principal forgiveness loan from the Water Improvements, Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority on behalf of the Moraine Park Water System.
The Granby Board will be updated on the Deberard Draw Project. The Board will discuss and possibly approve an amendment to the Fraser River Water Agreement as it pertains to the Clinton Reservoir. The Board will consider correction of a Special Warranty Deed recorded in the Grand County Clerk and Recorder’s Office.
The Board will discuss and consider a number of resolutions pertaining to the Granby Ranch Metropolitan Districts and Headwaters District relating to mill levies and service plans.
The Board will hear a presentation on a recommendation for signage, as it relates to traffic issues, at Topaz and Mesa in Granby. Additionally the Board will discuss a Trout Unlimited lease, the Town’s sign codes and an enclave annexation.
The Board is scheduled to go into an Executive Session Tuesday night to discuss issues relating to the Shorefox property.
The Town of Grand Lake will hold Municipal Court on Wednesday Nov. 9 beginning at 1:30 p.m.
