Grand County local government meetings this week

Official government meetings in Grand County are fairly light this week as most communities in Middle Park prepare for municipal elections, scheduled for Tuesday April 5, 2016 for Grand Lake, Granby, Fraser and Winter Park.

The Town of Grand Lake does not have a Board of Trustees meeting scheduled this week. The Town does however have a Planning Commission meeting tentatively scheduled for April 6 at 7:30 p.m. if there is an agenda. A Town of Grand Lake Board of Adjustment’s meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on April 7. Grand Lake is also holding elections on Tuesday April 5, 2016 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with polling conducted in the Grand Lake Town Hall.

The Town of Granby does not have a Board of Trustees meeting scheduled this week but the Town does however have a Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Monday April 4 at 6 p.m. at the Granby Town Hall. Granby will hold municipal elections on Tuesday April 5 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Granby’s spring election is a mail-ballot only election and ballots can be dropped off at the Granby Town Hall until 7 p.m.



The Winter Park Town Council meets at 2 p.m. Monday, April 4 in Town Hall.

The Fraser Board of Trustees meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 in Fraser Town Hall. Discussion topics on the agenda include election results, appreciation remarks for outgoing elected officials, oath of office for new officials and orientation topics for newly elected officials.
