Grand County marijuana sales surpass $600k in September
Grand County recorded $615,627 in recreational marijuana sales in September, greatly surpassing sales from the same month last year and reflecting a trend of increasing marijuana sales in the county.
The Colorado Department of Revenue reports monthly marijuana sales by county, and the most recent month available was September.
The recreational marijuana sales for September were significantly less than August’s, which reported $706,335 in county marijuana sales.
The biggest month for marijuana sales so far this year was July, reaching $764,812. While May was the lowest for sales this year at $396,004, it still exceeded May 2018 by more than $80,000.
The state saw more than $155 million of recreational and medical marijuana sales in September. Since 2014, Colorado has recorded more than $7.3 billion in total marijuana sales.
