Grand County police blotter, April 18-21: Blood in the bathroom
FRI., APRIL 19
7:58 p.m. A party at Dollar General in Granby reported a disoriented man in the store, who was in the bathroom and left blood inside. The man was now wandering the store and seemed to be intoxicated.
SAT., APRIL 20
1:41 a.m. A 16-year-old boy took his mother’s truck about two hours earlier; he was supposed to go to Safeway in Fraser and has not been home since. The vehicle was found stuck in the snow.
11:55 p.m. A moose needed to be killed at Snow Mountain Ranch after being struck by a vehicle. The animal was blocking the road. The vehicle that hit the moose had left the scene.
1:38 p.m. An SUV struck a rock near milepost 241 on Highway 40 in Winter Park. Westbound traffic was shut down as the car was blocking the lane. The vehicle was undriveable with undercarriage damage.
4:08 p.m. A man on the 300-block of East Jasper Avenue in Granby was on his snowmobile, reportedly retaliating against his landlord. He was angry about parking rules. He ran his snowmobile up and down the sidewalk.
11:02 p.m. A man was outside in his car at the Allington Inn in Kremmling after dropping off an Easter basket. The manager did not want him sleeping in the driveway. The subject was found to be sober.
