Grand County police blotter, Dec. 9-11
5:13 p.m. A two-car accident occurred on US Highway 34 in Grand Lake.
5:15 p.m. An accident on County Road 85 in Tabernash was called into dispatch. One person was trapped in their car and later extricated.
8:11 a.m. A person in a Grand Lake neighborhood called dispatch to state that their neighbor took their dog. The dog was taken into custody and later returned to its owner.
10:19 a.m. A Subaru was running all night in the parking lot at the Fraser Ball Fields.
5:45 p.m. A missing snowshoer whose car was parked at the Berthoud Pass Parking Lot was reported lost. He was last seen at 2 p.m. At 6:21 p.m. it was reported that he made it back to his truck.
6:24 p.m. An intoxicated person was reported to be lying in the driveway of a Winter Park hotel and was uncooperative.
7:40 p.m. A vehicle was stuck near the bike path between East Grand Fire District and Moonshine on US Highway 40.
7:03 a.m. A homeowner in Fraser called dispatch stating their home smelled strongly of gas. The fire department later discovered that a vehicle had been left running in the garage all night.
7:30 a.m. Power lines are down on Vasquez Road in Winter Park and resting on a structure. Power is out in the neighborhood. Heavy snow sagged the lines.
10:40 a.m. Colorado State Patrol asked for assistance with overflow parking near the Berthoud Pass Parking Lot on US Highway 40. At 12:03 p.m. CDOT plowed out another parking area.
4:47 p.m. CDOT plow versus vehicle on US Highway 40 just past the Mary Jane entrance. One person was injured.
6:46 p.m. A small slide affecting two westbound lanes occurred on US Highway 40 just past the Mary Jane entrance. No vehicles were caught in the slide.
9:01 p.m. A person called dispatch stating he was being accused of stealing something from a Fraser grocery store.
9:29 a.m. Two cars were in a ditch on US Highway in Granby.
9:41 p.m. A man was lost in the woods riding a 4-wheeler near County Road 162 in Grand County. At 10:05 p.m. a friend located him.
10:33 p.m. A person called dispatch to state that a large group of college kids just walked into a Winter Park bar and reported that some may be under age.
