Grand County police blotter, Feb. 9-11: Posting bond with gift cards; fake passport

Lost property — It was reported at around 2:30 a.m. from an intoxicated male at Best Western Alpenglow in Winter Park that he had left his phone at the bar and they would not let him back in to get it. It was reported to be a flip phone. The phone was unable to be located at the bar.

Message delivery — Authorities received a report just before 2 p.m. regarding a previous suspicious incident. The reporting party’s father was contacted and told that the party’s son was arrested and needed for him to post bond using gift cards.

Harassment — It was reported at around 6:20 p.m. that a male subject had pushed and harassed a party at Subway in Granby. Authorities later arrested the man.


Arrest — It was reported at around 11 a.m. that a wanted male was attempting to purchase a firearm at Murdoch’s in Fraser. The male was taken into custody.


Information Report — It was reported at around 1:20 a.m. that a bartender at Ullr’s Tavern in Winter Park had received a fake passport and would like to turn it into police.
