Grand County police blotter, Jan. 9: Jell-O shots

Car crash — It was reported to authorities at around 8:30 a.m. of a two-vehicle collision that occurred near the intersection of U.S. Highways 34 and 40 in Granby. No injuries were reported and all traffic lanes were reopened a little more than an hour later.
Car crash — It was reported to authorities at around 3:30 p.m. that a non-injury crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Rendezvous Road in Fraser. It was reported that an 18-year-old female passed out behind the wheel and came to across the bike path.
Welfare check — Authorities received a report at around 4:15 p.m. from an undisclosed location in Fraser of a subject that had purchased liquor and made a suspicious statement. Authorities later found that the party purchased alcohol intending to drink in the evening. He was not planning to hurt himself, just does not regularly drink and asked the employees of the liquor store several questions. A party was at his residence. He planned to take one to two Jell-O shots.
Harassment — Authorities received a report at around 7:10 p.m. of a neighbor dispute on the 20-block of Fox Drive in Granby. It was reported something was thrown at the reporting party’s door. There were no injuries or weapons reported. It was a dispute over a dog issue from the previous night.
