Grand County Realtors offer Meth Lab Recognition seminar
April 1, 2009
The Grand County Board of Realtors® is offering a class/seminar on Meth Lab Recognition, clean up and disclosure from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at East Grand Middle School commons area.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
The class is free to anyone who feels this training would be beneficial to them. Realtor members may receive four hours of CE credit for a $30 fee.
This training allows those who enter homes as part of their daily job duties to take a common sense approach to hazards they may encounter. Contamination is left behind from manufacturing as well as the use of methamphetamine and can present serious health hazards to anyone who comes in contact with it.
This session will address meth lab hazards, recognition and personal safety, as well as Colorado laws regarding the clean-up of methamphetamine laboratories and the Disclosure Law.
