Twenty members of Grand County Search and Rescue, with the assistance of a two-person tracking team from Larimer County Search and Rescue, initiated a search for the missing man early Friday. The man was reported as missing late Thursday afternoon.

A ground search team located the subject a short distance from the highway. The man was transported to the highway by Grand County Search and Rescue members.

Six to eight inches of snow has fallen in the area since the man’s vehicle was reported as being parked on Highway 125.
