KUNC National Public Radio is tentatively scheduled to begin broadcasting in Grand County in early October.

A campaign successfully raised funds for a Grand County tower to return the KUNC radio signal to the area. The tower will be located on Granby Ranch property.

Location of the satellite receiving dish, translator and antenna have been finalized, and testing to ensure no interference with wireless Internet or ski area radio equipment will begin soon.

Once testing has been satisfactorily completed, installation of the receiver and antenna will be finalized, according to project officials.
