Grand County voters just say "NO" to schools

Voters appear to have defeated two measures meant to bolster Grand County school budgets Tuesday night.

With 92 percent of the votes counted, the West Grand override had 384 YES votes and 503 NO votes.

The East Grand 3B ballot measure was a closer race with 1,836 YES votes and 1,920 NO votes. But the measure was only a backup plan if voters approved Amendment 61, which seems likely to be defeated based on early statewide election results.
