Grand Elk Golf Club has ‘soft opening’ today
Lace up your spikes and start practicing your short game, because golf season has arrived in Grand County. Grand Elk Golf Club in Granby officially opened today, the fourth year in a row it has opened before the close of Winter Park Resort.
The club is calling it a “soft opening” as they wait for a number of their employees to finish their winter jobs, and to allow the grass to grow in a little more. The club will allow walking only for now, and they will have nine holes open each day as weather permits. The practice range is also open.
The pro shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and all 18 holes and the club restaurant are expected to be open beginning May 4.
